Overview
Ftíhti̊āfù Gíhm was founded durring the late 15th century in spring of the year 1394, by Velneash. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Velneash.
Ftíhti̊āfù Gíhm was built using the conventions of Tauran durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ftíhti̊āfù Gíhm is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature stone brick construction with most buildings posessing towers, turrets, dormers, and wide wrap-around porches. An extreem emphasis on decorative features and emblishments can be seen even on the poorest of homes and makes even the most humble of structures seem a bit regal.
Ftíhti̊āfù Gíhm is buildings have been located at convienant points along the cliff Ftíhti̊āfù Gíhm was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the narrow baked earthen streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The city rests behind a set of well fortified walls, with gatehouses, watch towers, and battlments. Ftíhti̊āfù Gíhm's walls are, howeaver, fashioned from stone and timber. While unorthadox, the design looks to be functional to a reasonable degree. With luck, the untested design will remain untested for years to come. Astonishigly, the unusual yet seemingly effective fortifications are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.
A look around Ftíhti̊āfù Gíhm gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable. Beneath this surface, the people of Ftíhti̊āfù Gíhm can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear Ftíhti̊āfù Gíhm places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual.
